NEW IN: HOMEWEAR.

Today I wanted to share with you some of my latest homewear purchases! There seems to be a bit of a theme with me in that as soon as the Christmas decorations come down at the beginning of January I get this uncontrollable urge to spring clean and redecorate everything in sight.

DIY: MARBLED JEWELLERY DISH.

I don't know about you guys but I still cannot get enough of the marble trend. However, I am always wary of spending lots of money on current trends as they are exactly that, current trends. With that in mind I have been trying to come up with some DIYs to include my favourite trends within my home without having to spend a single penny.

PROJECT LIFE SCRAPBOOK.

Do you ever see something you really like the idea of and then completely forget it exists for like 2 years? Yeah well, that is what happened with me and Project Life. Back in February 2013 A Beautiful Mess published a blog post titled "Elsie's Project Life Album" and I instantly loved the combination of both photo album and scrapbook. For some reason though I just presumed this was a product only available in North America and thought nothing of it again until Lily Pebbles posted "How To Start A Project Life Scrapbook" and I was like hallelujah!

WHITE CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER BLONDIES.

After sharing my salted caramel brownies with you all at the beginning of the month I have been on a bit of a baking hype and have been trying out lots of new recipes. My favourite of which are these delicious white chocolate and peanut butter blondies. I have never actually tried blondies before let alone baked them, I'm not even really a fan of peanut butter (unless it's coated in chocolate and goes by the name of a Reece's Cup) so I have no idea why I decided to make these but seriously, they are oh so good!

TOP FOUR FOR HOME DECOR.

There is something about January and a fresh start to the year that always gets me in the mood to decorate. Maybe this is due to the fact I always think everything looks so plain once all the Christmas decorations come down but regardless of that I am embracing it. We are currently only on the 12th day of the year and so far I have already had the paint and rollers out this weekend and even got a new piece of furniture delivered last week.

THE WANDERLUST LIST.

2014 featured a distinct lack of travel and I for one am not very happy about it. You know how it is with life and money and last year featured a hell of a lot of redecoration of my home leaving very little money for trips abroad. The boyfriend and I did make a short stay in York and couple of trips to the coast but besides that zero travelling or exploring happened and this is a huge thing I would like to rectify in 2015.

DIY: COPPER ALPHABET LETTER.

The copper spray paint is back from hibernation and as has had its first outing of 2015. Copper was a huge trend for 2014 and with Pantone picking Marsala - a similar, more red based, metallic shade for their colour of the year I do not see the popularity of copper waining anytime soon.

SALTED CARAMEL BROWNIES.

You know the drill by now, it is January and everyone is on the "new year, new me" hype. Chances are you are looking to make some changes in your life whether that be to give more or to work harder and you're probably hating the fact that I have put a photo of some seriously delicious salted caramel brownies right before you.
