THE BEST OF LADYLIKE LEN 2015.

As this is the first whole week of the year I thought that it would be nice time to pause and take the moment to take walk down memory lane and create a little round up of some of my personal favourite posts from throughout the previous year.

I actually can't believe it is 2016 already and that it has been a month already since my last blog post? Sorry about that! Between birthdays, working overtime, festive catch ups, the big day itself and being ill for the last 2 weeks I kinda underestimated just how busy I would be in the run up to Christmas. Meaning that unfortunately my blog took an unplanned absence.

However 2015 was a big year for me and my little old blog. I easily doubled the content that I was posting compared to previous years and single handily created so many things that I'm super proud of as well as worked with some pretty amazing companies along the way too.

A simple post to start with but there is no denying that I love dropping some serious cash in H&M's home department. Some of the pieces included within this particular haul have been favourite purchases throughout the entire year, I adore the C'est La Vie pillow and that candle stick holder is still something I get all heart eye emojis for every time I use it.

I absolutely love writing about home decor and interiors and they will certainly be reoccurring themes for upcoming post's in 2016. One of my favourites throughout the year was this amazing wire and copper light that I snapped up in the BHS lighting sale that I just had to share with you guys.

This was a project that I worked on with Bloom & Wild and something that I am really proud of. From the recipe, to the DIY and the photography I could not of been happier with the way this one turned out and hope to work with Bloom & Wild again this year to bring you some amazing content!

I have said it before but I shall say it again, I love A Beautiful Mess. They are the girls that opened up the world of blogging to me and the fact that they created a monthly subscription service full to the brim with scrapbooking supplies made my heart tremendously happy. The box itself is great and is easily one of my favourite finds from 2015.

Following on from the home decor love above, I have really enjoyed coming up with affordable ways to update your space and this blog post is a great example of that. You can pop anything in a frame and call wall art so go buy some cheap frames and update that blank wall pronto!

This post took me quite some time to bring together. Whether that be trial and error on my own part or putting in the time to researching the ideal plants. Funny thing is though it was one of my favourites to write and one that you guys absolutely loved too! (Clearly I'm not the only one to kill a cactus around here)

This is my favourite recipe of the year and one that I whipped up on more than on occasion. This simple spin on a classic Victoria sponge really makes a difference and is a great bake to show off to your friends without have to spend hours making edible decorations from royal icing cursing yourself for having such elaborate ideas.

And that is a wrap on 2015!
