CHARLOTTE TILBURY K.I.S.S.I.N.G LIPSTICKS.

There are very few things in this world that will make me straight up throw my money at a sales assistant but Charlotte Tilbury makeup is most certainly one of them. I have quite a collection of her products slowly growing in my makeup stash that easily deserve a mention of their own but today I wanted to take a moment to talk about my favourite, the lipsticks.

When the Charlotte Tilbury makeup range was first released at the end of 2013 I went crazy for the eyeshadows quads and the complexion products. Despite being a self confessed lipstick hoarder, for some reason managed to refrain from picking one up for quite some time. A few months passed of the lipsticks playing on my mind before I bit the bullet and did the inevitable and ended up picking up one of the beautiful rose gold art deco bullets and bringing it home with me.

The shade that stood out to me the most was Stoned Rose from the original K.I.S.S.I.N.G range. I am a huge neutral lipstick lover but being that I'm quite fair skinned and a natural red head I have to be careful not to pick up anything too pale otherwise I end up looking like a corpse. This is what initially drew me to Stoned Rose, it's a beautiful almost terracotta rose nude that I just knew would work so well with a multitude of make up looks. A huge plus for me alongside the beautiful shade was the consistency of the lipstick itself, it was a strong enough colour to last a few hours without fading awkwardly, moisturising enough to keep my lips hydrated and generally a no fuss product.

Since then I have had my eyes on a few shades from both the K.I.S.S.I.N.G as well as the newer Matte Revolution range so when I stumbled across the Mini Lipstick Charms and had a Selfridges gift card burning a hole in my pocket I thought this would be a great way to try 3 more shades from the original range without having to drop £23 on them individually.

First off I would like to point out that these are tiny, but once you accept the fact that each lipstick only contains 0.04oz of product things start to get a bit better. The Mini Lipstick Charms I believe are designed to be popped on your Christmas tree as they come on adorable little ribbons so I'm not sure if they are available all year round but I would seriously recommend picking them up if see them! Included are the shades, So Marilyn, Penelope Pink and my favourite of the trio Bitch Perfect. The miniature size has actually started to really grow on me as I'm totally guilty of never finishing a lipstick anyway and they are undeniably cute meaning that they have become instant handbag saviours.

Overall I have yet to be disappointed by Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and truly think that if you are in the market for a high end lipstick they are most certainly worth the money. Now I've just got to try and decided on which shade to add to my collection next. I would really like to try one of the Matte Revolution lipsticks so if any of you have a recommendation I would love to hear from you in the comment section below.
I decided against including swatches in this post as I am by no means a beauty blogger and the website itself has great images/videos of the product in action if you would like to see more!

  1. I absolutely love the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks too, there's so many colours I'm desperate to get my hands on - funnily enough, it's actually Stoned Rose that's top of that list! : )
