DIY: VALENTINE'S PHOTO DISPLAY.

Without sounding like a complete and utter cliche, where the hell has the past month gone? I cannot believe that Christmas was over a month ago now and it is already the end of January this week. January coming to an abrupt end does mean one thing though, Valentine's Day is just around the corner! I have quite the busy February full of birthdays and a best friends wedding so I thought I best get on Valentine's Day early to ensure that my loved one still get something special.

This will be our 7th Valentine's Day together and as I have mentioned in previous Valentine's Day post's we are kinda over the whole taking special trips away or dropping over £100 on a fancy meal thing. Instead of flashing the cash we decided to make Valentine's Day a little more personal and in turn, a lot more special.

Gift wise this year I wanted to continue my tradition of making something for my special someone. So when the guys from Cheerz got in touch with me regarding their new products, the Love Strips* and the Love Cheerz Box* I thought that they would be the perfect start to my DIY Valentines gift this year. Once I had decided upon which photos I wanted to print I went on a hunt through my workspace and craft supplies to see what ideas I could come up with. This was when I came across some unloved Kiko Glass Hanging Frames that had been waiting for me to find a new use for them since giving my workspace a revamp, if you would like to know more about the frames I blogged about them before here

Once my photo's arrived I got straight to picking out my favourite images and arranging them with a mixture of cards and craft supplies until I was happy with the layout of each of them. For reference, pretty much everything within the frames is from various A Beautiful Mess Messy Box's which I have also spoke about here if you're interested. Once I had my photos and decorations in place I simply used some blu tac to hold everything in place and voila!

I am actually so pleased with how these frames came out and I don't doubt for a second that the boyfriend will be suitably impressed with my efforts this year. To be completely honest, he probably would have been happy with the Love Cheerz Box filled with our favourite memories but I just couldn't help myself and just had to come up with a creative way of using them.
