5 TO FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM.

After the success of my '5 to follow on Pinterest' post I thought it might be fun to start a little social media series and do another post on one of my other favourite social media platforms, Instagram.

Instagram has grown a lot in the past 5 years since its initial release. From it's humble beginnings as a simple photo sharing app for those exclusively with iPhones to becoming available on android, the web and being brought out by Facebook in 2012. As of 2015 Instagram lies firmly in the top 10 social media sites and with over 100,000,000 active users it can be pretty damn hard to filter through the crap and find those gem accounts that take Instagram to the next level. 

 1. @kristen_ess - Follow for the brains/scissors behind Lauren Conrad's latest haircut, beautiful braids and some seriously enviable beach waves. 

2. @fromrosesxo - Follow for on point photography styling, exceptional stationary taste and a house plant collection that rivals the best garden centres. 

3. @simplegreensmoothies - Follow for a good dose of healthy living inspiration and oodles of green smoothie recipes to try at home.

4. @aptapothecary - Follow for some of the most beautiful bouquets, clean white spaces and easily one of the cutest pups on the internet.

5. @suflanda - Follow for quite frankly the best tattoo artist on Instagram, take a peep even if you're not into body art as this woman is a true artist.

As I said before, if there is anyone on Instagram you absolutely love that doesn't appear here then drop their username in the comments below and I will be sure to check them out.
